The Institute
Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT) is a private self financing Engineering College, established and run by the Federal Bank Officers` Association Educational Society (FBOAES). With the motto "Focus on Excellence", FISAT has been designed and developed to become a `Centre of Excellence` in professional education. Established in the year 2002, the college has carved a niche for itself in education world, eloquently demonstrated by the flying colors attained by its students in academics, placements as well as extra curricular and co curricular activities. The institution is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. The institution also received the coveted ISO 9001:20015 certification.

Center of Excellence in Robotics and IoT
The Center of Excellence in Robotics and IoT was established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Center for Continuing Education, FISAT. The center has been successful in conducting three national level workshops for faculty in association with IIT Bombay. The center is identified as a Nodal center for project eYantra by IIT Bombay and upgraded as an eLSI lab in 2016. The major research areas of the center are Robotics , IoT, AI, ML and Sensor fusion.

Project e-Yantra
Project e-Yantra is an initiative to spread education in Embedded systems and Robotics by IIT Bombay sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). This project was conceptualized by Prof. Kavi Arya and Prof. Krithi Ramamritham of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay. FISAT is identified as a Nodal Center to co-ordinate the e-Yantra activities in Kerala.

Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering
Established in the year 2002, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is committed to providing quality professional education to aspiring engineers. The department has an annual intake of 120 students for the B Tech course and 48 students for the M.Tech course. The department has well experienced and dedicated faculty members and aims to impart sound knowledge and awareness in the latest developments in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
